Sleepover!

Sometimes we love just leaving for the night for no good reason.

Last night we went to Sandy to party with Grandma and my brother Garrett.

While there, we:

Finished the series finale of Friday Night Lights

Ate a lot of delicious home cookin

Watched it snow from inside the warm house

Saw an old movie

Slept in

Went to church

Drove through nasty snow both ways (glad my man is a good driver)

And hung out with Grandma.

Time well spent.

Better Late Than Never

I know, Valentine's day is old news by now.

But I LOVE my husband!

We had a perfect date of takeout chicken salad croissants and plenty of quality time curling up on the couch catching up on Once Upon a Time. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Trevor gave me a frame with pictures of when we were in Hawaii 2 summers ago, along with a love letter. If you know me and our love story, you know that boy's letters just make me melt. 

It was perfect and I'm so glad I got to spend the whole day flirting with my main squeeze (not that this is any different from every other day in our life...)

Weekend Adventures

This weekend we went to see our friends Kanani, Dan, and Ladd dance with the BYU Living Legends group. They are all in the Polynesian section and they are AMAZING! Kanani was my roommate freshman year and we were instant best friends. I've seen the show before, but Trevor hadn't yet and we both absolutely loved it. I also hadn't seen Kanani for way too long and words cannot describe how happy I was to see her (we were both bawling messes)! I love that girl more than anything!

I went through and found pictures from the other times I've seen the show. Not only do we look different, but we've added on a couple of husbands over the years :)

Otherwise, this weekend was full of: 

Hunting down all the good cheap movies at FYE's going out of business sale

Cuddling up at home through the snow and watching Friday Night Lights

Naps (because have I ever written a weekend post in which naps were not included?)

And daydreaming about where we'll be next year (always a fun pastime!) Who knows?

Dear Sun,

Thank you for shining and making it the warmest winter I've experienced since I've been in Provo. I love it.

Dear Trevor, 

I'm glad we stayed up till 2 in the morning last night just because we can. I like you AND I love you. I'm a lucky girl.

Dear Hair,

I'm sorry I don't fix you or wash you more often. I just have such a hard time making a good shower schedule when I get sweaty every day and teach swimming lessons twice a week. At least I still shave my legs daily.

Dear Friends,
I am unbelievably proud of you. I have one friend who just got into the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at BYU (You are amazing Amanda and I love you forever!) and another friend who just got a mission call to Korea (I love you Kelli!). I love that my friends to incredible things.

Dear Garrett,

Thank you for doing our taxes and giving us good news that we DO get a tax return!

Dear Sarah,

You are my hero and I'm glad we are best friends. You are a hot mom. Your kids are so cute. I love them so much. Our blog is so fun. I'm glad we are doing this project together. (I also think everyone who reads my blog should check out the one my sister and I started. We may or may not be having a giveaway soon- shh!)

Dear Valentine's Day,

I'm pumped for the hot date you provide us with each year. Also for the excuse to give Trevor something great.

Today I have clean sheets,
