Adventures

... of Vegasland:
Met Tyler, Trevor's brother who just got back from Argentina (they hadn't seen each other in 4 years!)
Love, love, loved the warm(er) weather
Mario Kart (we're going through a phase)
Played basketball (Trevor)
Stayed up late
Slept in late
... pretty perfect :)
Sometimes Trevor bench presses me.
It's fun to have a buff husband.
BTW. Started p90x with my girl Danielle Harrison this week. We are getting buffer already.

For the Love

*Disclaimer: This is a mushy post about love.*
I love Trevor.
I love his goofy laugh.
I love that he is tall.
I love his blue eyes.
I love how he takes care of me.
I love waking up to him every morning.
I love wrestling with him.
I love his family.
I love his dance moves.
I love his voice.
I love how he listens to me.
I love how he makes me feel special and pretty.
I love that he loves kids (and talks about future baby Hansen ALL the time!)
I love that he loves my family.
I love that he thinks differently than anyone else.
I love that he is always warm.
I love that I can trust him completely.
I love holding his hand.
I love sitting by him at church.
I love his funny sneezes.
I love his dimples.
I love the secret messages he sends me during the day.
I love his big gangster shoes. And gangster ways of life in general.
I love LOVE the way he smells.
I love how he daydreams.
I love his optimism.
I love how he works hard.
I love how he understands me.
I love when he kisses my forehead.
I love that he can always crack me up.
I love that he's happy.
I love that I could go on with this list all day long!!!
But you get the point...
Good thing I get to be with him forever :)

Trevor gave me 3 different flavors of my favorite food for Valentine's day...
RICE CRISPY TREATS!!!!! We won't talk about how swiftly they have been vanishing.
I had to scavenger hunt for them.
Also, he made me the greatest Valentine ever. Trevor is the king of making homemade cards.
I love them every time.
He loves me :)
Joy in a pan.
I made Trevor a collage of pictures of us and put up a bunch of love quotes.
I've come to the realization lately that cheesiness is underrated. He loved it.
And I love him :)

I've said it before... I'll say it again... I sure am a lucky girl!

Endless Possibilities

are now at my fingertips.

It's so pretty!
I am now the proud owner of a classy red sewing machine (thanks Momma Hansen!!!). And not just any sewing machine... it's the same one my fabulous mom (who helped me get it all fixed up!) has and loves!
I am so excited.
My moms are brilliant.

Nostalgia

I loved my childhood.
For some reason, I have been really nostalgic lately.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I haven't been home in over a year,
or that I'm surrounded by mountains,
or that I'm missing this unbelievable snow storm in the land of regular snowdays,
or that the song "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift is on my new running playlist (I know I know, not the best for pumping up purposes, whatever.)
Or that my elementary school caught on fire today!
I seriously cried about it.
I love being a Green Springs Gator.
All those little sad kids with melted crayons :(

So so sad.
But I love, love so many things about home.
Olathe Kansas: home of
amazing thunderstorms
late summer nights
Black Bob Pool (my second home)
my cat!
my house (my family has lived there my whole life)
green grass in my huge backyard
being able to see the horizon
Heritage park
Old Settler's
QT Rooster Boosters
My family (of course)
driving around with the windows down
sitting on my roof talking to Trevor on the phone until all hours of the night :)
open fields
cows
feeling SO at home... ahhh :)

Not that I am not absolutely in love with life exactly how it is now.
But thinking of home sure makes me happy and I really love that place :).
And good news: I get to take my guy there in April!!!!
